Pine Lumber Grades

Heartwood Lumber Premium Pine

Premium Grade Pine

Our Premium Pine is machined for a perfect fit just like our knotty pine grade. We remove any material that has wane or holes, and are very critical of the straightness of each board. Our premium grade will only contain sporadic small tight knots, no larger than 1-1/2″.

Heartwood Lumber Knotty Pine

Knotty Pine

Our knotty pine grade is just that, beautiful Southern Yellow Pine that is machined by craftsmen for a perfect fit. We remove any material that has wane or holes, and are very particular about making sure crooked boards do not make it in the pack. We machine our knotty pine through the same process we do our Premium Pine, it just contains boards with more knots.
